(1).The use of the teleservices of Filmmonopol® requires accreditation and registration as a member. Accreditation and Registration is effected by opening a user account and agreeing to these General Terms and Conditions. Upon registration, a contract between Filmmonopol® and the member covering the use of the Filmmonopol® website exists (hereinafter called “The User Contract”).
(2).Registrations will only be accepted from legal entities (companies), legally competent adults or legal partnerships acting in their commercial or professional capacity. Evidence of commercial or professional links to the film industry must be provided at the time of accreditation and registration. For this purpose a trade license or certificate of registration or any other suitable form of proof to substantiate such a link will suffice.
In exceptional cases private persons, who are not acting in their commercial or professional capacity, may be accepted as members but only for the purpose of disposing of a personal film license. Minors are expressly excluded from registration.
(3).The decision on acceptance for membership lies solely with Filmmonopol®. There is no obligation for Filmmonopol® to accept any application. Filmmonopol may reject any application for membership without disclosing its reasons.
(4).Requests an accreditation for the issuance of a membership/access ID and password are handled via the Filmmonopol® web portal.
Members who are not acting commercially, but who are only using the portal for the purpose of disposal, will receive limited access rights enabling them to make their own licenses available.

(5).The data requested by Filmmonopol®, given at the time of registration, must be compete and correct. The member bears the sole responsibility for the accuracy of the data lodged. Amendments/updates to membership data may be made online at any time.
Registrations from legal entities (companies) may only be made by an authorized representative, who must be officially named.
(6).Upon registration, the member will receive a system-generated username and password. The member must keep these access codes (username and password) secure, in order to prevent misuse by third parties. The member bears the sole responsibility for all deals transacted using his/her access codes.
Should access codes be lost or become compromised Filmmonopol® must be informed immediately in order to block access. This also applies even if the member only suspects misuse. In cases of misuse, Filmmonopol® also reserves the right to block access to the B2B area.
(7).Filmmonopol® will not pass on passwords to third parties. Filmmonopol® will never ask a member about passwords by telephone or e-mail. Requests for passwords on login pages or on web forms are only made by Filmmonopol using the appropriate URLs.
(8).User accounts are not transferable.
(9).User fees: After succesful accreditation, without obligation, Filmmonopol® will send Licensors the LOGIN for the free placement and administration of licence offers, and license buyers will receive the current schedule of charges for license research, viewing and bidding.
